On Monday, November 19, 2007 the Galaxy Foundation and The Home Depot Center Charitable Foundation hosted its 5th Annual Foundations' Feast, a Thanksgiving Dinner for 200 children and families in need at The Home Depot Center's American Express Stadium Club. With the generous donation of our sponsors: Farmer John (hams), Albertson's (turkeys), Coca-Cola (water & juice), Two Chefs on a Roll (Pumpkin Cheesecake), Marie Callender's (pumpkin and apple pies) and Levy Restaurants, who prepared the ham, turkeys and side dishes, children and families from the following organizations received a "home cooked" Thanksgiving meal.
Thank you to Los Angeles Galaxy players, Landon Donovan and his wife actress Bianca Kajilich, Quavas Kirk, Troy Roberts, and Pete Vagenas, Miss Galaxy 2008 Court member Caitlin and staff and volunteers of the L.A. Galaxy, The Home Depot Center, Albertsons and Levy Restaurants, who contributed to success of the Foundation's Feast by serving dinner, clearing tables and handing out goodie bags to our guests. |
